  • Haldi ceremony – Actually, Haldi is a ceremony meant for smearing the turmeric paste on the bodies of the new couple.   • Mehendi ritual – Mehendi is a vibrant occasion when the bride and all the other women present there to put on henna paste on their hands and feet, with beautiful designs. The men may choose to wear dark coloured suits with tuxedos or jackets, where black and mid-night blue are most popular.
